2DaRescue Redesign

2DaRescue website displayed on desktop, laptop, and tablet.

For my applied project as the final part of my graduate degree, I worked with local nonprofit 2DaRescue to update their website. The previous website had been made using Wix.com and the board members of the group felt that it was not presenting a sufficiently professional appearance. Over a period of four months, I held phone meetings with key stakeholders Karen Franklin and Tina Meredith to determine the goals of the new website, conducted user testing to determine where the needs of their end-users were not being met, established consistent branding, created wireframes, mockups, and prototypes of the final product, and finally, handcoded and implemented the final site. This website served the rescue well until their eventual dissolution.
